Open documentation certainly makes sense and I'm 100% for it. My question is, how do we make our voices heard by the real decision makers at the various camera manufacturers? This site is a wonderful tool to collect, focus, and voice our opinions, and I want to believe that this will be more than just another site for people to rant. I want to believe our voices will be heard. How do we draw the attention of the right people and ensure that this happens?

First, you have to identify the right people. Who are the decision makers?
We need to know the specific names of the corporate folks who make these decisions.
It's hard to talk to a corporation. Corporrate executives, however, are flesh and blood folks who can be persuaded.
