well put it this way.. The Nikon D50 is perfect for me in almost every way... was totally ready to put down the hard stuff for a kit but then i looked around the net for more information, guess what.. they are saying that i can't use any other program but theres for their raw files.. that doesnt fit in with the way i want to use my camera equipment, so i'm forced to look at the canon range. bummer almost had a new nikon fan. :(

HI tony,
When the Camera hits the market place software companies such as Adobe, Bible, Capture one will all support the camera once they have a look at the NEF. Don't forget all digital cameras on the market place have encryption on there NEFs. Canon is no different. If you like the D50 then you sould get it.
