Consider that I'm writing a book with a tape recorder and I asked my assistant to type it. She did it with her own
type-writer, encripted it with some codes she assembled. She later destroyed the original tape and claimed that the book was her own work.

What would be the verdict of the court?

I see the parallel of my digital raw files with the above. I support Open-Raw. I don't want to be held hostage by my camera manufacturer by encripting my raw files. I want to be able to retrieve my photos from my raw files, without encripting, after 35 years just as I have been enjoying with my films. I stored my films sealed with plastic bags in a freezer and, after 35 years, they are still great when I scanned them recently.
