OpenRAW

As the photographer, I am the owner of the intellectual property contained in the raw data. I neither want, nor do I need, a camera manufacturer or anyone else locking me out of my own data, or charging me for access to any of it (e.g. by requiring the use of particular software).

Further, closed raw formats are subject to obsolescence; there is no guarantee they will be supported in the future. An open raw format allows me unimpeded access to my own data, now and for all time
