OpenRAW

.CR2 is the lastest file extension I know of. Hearing of this I looked around. Upon finding out that camera manufacturers and cameras currently use their own RAW format I was concerned. The concept that OpenRAW is proposing makes total sense. I belive all RAW formats should be something like the DNG. My Canon EOS 350D (Digital Rebel XT) is one of the many cameras that shoots in it's own format, if I could just update the firmware so it would shoot in a universal format then at least one part of the photography world would be a better place.
