I am for openly documented RAW file...

I am for openly documented RAW file formats because...

... because I want my camera manufacturer to survive and keep supporting me.

If imaging software makers can't easily decifer my camera maker's new evolving EXIF and RAW formats, then I and others with my camera maker's models get no new evolving support.

We will buy cameras that are supported instead - cameras with openly documents contents to the images they produce.

Then my camera maker fails and goes out of business because not enough people buy their products.

Secrecy is stooopid.

My pictures belong to ME not to my camera maker.

NOTHING IN MY PICTURES SHOULD BE LOCKED TO ME!

Nothign in MY pictures should be restricted to viewing ONLY by my camera maker!
