OpenRAW

I work in an environment where we use 6 different digital systems. The software that comes with the different cameras can be complex to deal with as well as very slow. If we could use one 3rd party software for conversion my job would be a hell of alot easier as well as our archiving systems. When I look to buy a new camera I want the best image quality - I don't want software/workflow to force a decision on me that in years to come will be of no use. Not only would open raw solve these problems, but it would also stop this nonsense of software cost - where you've spent a small fourtune on a digital back/dslr and now its another $600 to activate a feature in the software that should've come with the software package in the first place. Camera manufactures oughtta be ashamed of themselves.
