It took a couple of thousand years to regain understanding of what the ancient Egypts wanted to tell future generations.

We are about ot get trapped similarily. Our historical footprint coded in a manner, future generations will not be able to understand, will vanish. This partially, because they lack in the neccessary hardware. Mostly however, because the meaing of the coded content is not obvious to them. They might not even know that there is a hidden content in the pattern.
