Photography is my living, and I need complete control over the technical aspect of my craft.

The whole notion of shooting RAW formats is to have greater control and flexibility with our images. To have a proprietary RAW format handcuffs me to using a particular software to be able to use the camera settings I chose, or use other software that is at best a guess of what I was intending when the picture was taken.
