I believe that the integrity and lifespan of digital image files must be as good as, if not better than, images produced using traditional chemical methods.
In order to 'future-proof' work being produced digitally today for others to enjoy and learn from in the future, an open file standard for storing digital image files should be adopted now by all camera manufacturers.
