OpenRAW

I certainly am a fan of having a universal standar for RAW format. Since the camera companies refuse to act in our best interest (that they should see as in their best interest since we buy their products) then we must apply as much consumer pressure as possible. Manufacturers should quickly come to some agreement on this. If DNG by Adobe is not it, then they MUST build an answer that they all can live with. The sooner the better as we are all accumulating GB of digital image files and the conversion workload will not be trivial. Waiting many more years and we will use a large portion of our compute power just doing the conversion.
