OpenRAW

As a computer programmer and amateur photographer. I believe soon it will be impossible to maintain pristine RAW images because of obsolence. Although Adobe has tried with DNG, I believe that any format that is owned by a company will ultimately die or fail.

In seeking out a better format. I would suggest that the PNG format be enhance to store EXIF and other camera data. The format is lossless/compressed and is not owned by a company. Maybe it would be called Photo-PNG.
