as a matter of principal, the encryption of data by manufacturers which prevents me from accessing those data is wrong. As stated elsewhere, the actual data are mine and not the manufacturers. I have the RIGHT to do with those data as I see fit using whatever means are at my disposal. Anything that prevents this is wrong.
