More precisely, I am against the proprietary RAW format perpetrated by each camera manufacturer. This forces you to use their software, which is not full featured or very good. Adobe Photoshop is the standard for digital photo editing. Adobe has done its best to decode the various RAW formats. Nikon's latest glitch is stupid. Why don't the camera guys make a RAW converter download that is a Photoshop plugin for the people who bought their product. I had Photoshop long before I had Nikon's camera. Fuji and Kodak make Nikon lens compatible cameras. I can always switch cameras for a RAW format that Adobe can convert. After all, all the various cameras are good, some are just better.
