OpenRAW

Apart from the above-mentioned comments for proprietary software, change of OS, ownership of the photographs and so on, another important matter is the different approach of all software out there to a raw format.

I got bored seeing misinterpretation of raw data from commercial software to that of camera vendors. Since I took the photo and I know what the colours looked like I want just that! Not what a software thinks it might be..

That could be easily done by setting a standard like OpenRAW.
