OpenRAW

If I invest in the best equipment I can buy I have certain expectations as to the quality of the images. I have been very disappointed until recently discovering 'raw' and then experiencing the same excitement of the darkroom, I need this input, afterall it's my eye, my photograph. Please don't over complicate or render programmes obsolete within short time otherwise we all play catch -up and never feel settled and confident. I am new to raw but it has set me free and proved that digital photography need not always be a compromise.
