OpenRAW

this reminds me of the old days of computers when CPM ruled and was then displaced by DOS, then by... It was very frustrating to use computers then and only got easier when manufacturers standardized equipment, software and so on. Photography means more to individuals than a computer because we want to keep our photos; we want to be out and photograph and not get frustrated wasting time with incompatible photo editing programs and soon to be outdated RAW file formats. So, I am all for openly documented RAW file formats but even more so for a standardized RAW file format, if that is technically possible.
