Why is Leica on the list of contacts?
I believe their upcoming DMR designed by Imacon will be using the DNG format.

But the Leica DMR is now shipping, and it supports DNG. Since it is supported by non-Leica software, it presumably isn't making significant, if any, use of private data.
OpenRAW should acknowledge Leica's major progress towards OpenRAW's objectives.
OpenRAW should also be promoting the use of DNG without private data (I've called this DNG/OpenRAW) to all camera manufacturers.

That's easy to answer. There is no Leica currently on the market which supports DNG (as of May 29th, 2005). Plus there is at least one older camera out which has a proprietary, undocumented RAW format. Have a look at this
