I have three raw systems, olympus, canon and kodak. Kodak is out of the pro-dslr market so now what? My studio is always changing our main camera system as the techo changes so fast. With film I know that I can always make prints from the Negs but with Raw files who knows!? I would like to think that in some useable way my work will be around for the next 100 years or so!
with film I made sure that the negs and prints will last that long but who knows with Raw files as there is no standard. I now love/hate digital.
It is time that the manufactures live up the the blue sky that they have sold us and make it all work together and stop selling systems that only half work in some cases. You should see the work flow when I shoot a wedding with all three systems. Make easy on us and come up with a standard!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those cameras should all output to DNG, at least as an option.
And any software product claiming to support OpenRAW should support DNG, because cameras that output in DNG format are clearly satisfying OpenRAW's objectives.
