OpenRAW

I use several different cameras in my work. My regular camera has one RAW file type and my backup has a different type. As it stands now I need to use different software to process each RAW file type. That is a nuisance and really hampers my workflow. If camera makers truly want to encourage photographers to use and enjoy their products the process needs to be easy and transparent. Proprietary formats serve no positive purpose, and certainly do not encourage either amateurs or professionals to make the most of what should be an enjoyable creative process.
